Teacher of History
Stockley Academy is seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of History.
As a Teacher of History, you must be able to inspire and motivate students, and have a passion for your subject area. You will have the ability to relate to the Academy's culture and ethos: "Learning transforms lives'. You will be committed to making a difference to the lives of young people, to raising standards, expectations and achievement and be able to think strategically and creatively. History is a very popular and successful subject with our students with several classes at GCSE. It is also a popular choice at A Level with students gaining excellent results.
The Academy offers 5 annual scholarships for teachers to seek internationally renowned best practice to continually challenge and raise standards to world class levels.
Stockley Academy is a popular 11-18 co-educational Academy ideally situated ten miles from the centre of London and forty miles from Oxford in the London Borough of Hillingdon. The impressive GBP26 million building offers state of the art facilities and provides an excellent learning environment for the 21st Century.
