Hours: 18 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

Contract Duration: Temporary for up to one year

To deliver CLD activity (predominantly youth work), across the Dunfermline area with a specific focus on a neighbourhood(s) to achieve the national CLD outcomes of:


improved life chances for people of all ages through learning, personal development and active citizenship
stronger, more resilient, supportive, influential and inclusive communities.


In carrying out your duties you will:


Plan, deliver and manage a range of learning programmes meeting the needs and identified outcomes of the young people.
Engage with learners to ensure that CLD programmes being offered in the local area are designed to meet learner expectation and reflect local need and priorities.
Undertake direct face to face delivery of CLD activity through engaging with groups and individuals in a learning context.
Day to day management and support of staff and volunteers utilising corporate frameworks such as Attendance Management, Fair Treatment at Work, Contribution Management and Customer Service.
Responsible for administration, budgeting, financial control of devolved budgets, monitoring and report writing for designated work.
Work in partnership with all appropriate agencies
Contribute to local, Fife-wide and national priorities through delivery of learning opportunities for young people


Fife Council pays the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate to employees earning less than GBP8.33 per hour. If the hourly rate of pay for the post is less than the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate a supplement will be paid.

Responsibilities


Manage and support the local implementation of youth work opportunities and outcomes
Plan, deliver and manage a range of learning programmes in relation to needs and outcomes
Undertake direct face to face learning delivery
Control and account for all material resources
Be responsible for the administration, on a day to day basis in relation to report writing, budgeting and financial control
Ensure that clients operate within the guidelines laid down and adopted by Fife Council
Plan, monitor and evaluate ongoing CLD practice and service outcomes and objectives in line with CLD Quality Framework
