Job Title: Best Advice Sales Executive

Location: Watford

Salary: £18,000 - £23,000 (DOE) + £14,400 OTE (UNCAPPED)

Hours: Full Time, Permanent

The company provides Limited Company, Umbrella and Payroll services to contractors and temporary workers across a range of industry sectors.

Established in 1989, compliance, customer service, and professionalism are at the heart of everything they do.

The Best Advice Sales Executive's primary objective is to convert new contractor leads and enquiries from a number of sources into sales, ensuring all new joiners are fully aware of the range of solutions offered by the company via the telephone and email.

Part of that process includes reacting with urgency to new enquiries, aim for 'one call - one sale' conversions, following-up and chasing leads proactively, ensuring all the relevant ID and assignment details are supplied to complete the sale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and convert agency and contractor leads
  • Provide a 'Best Advice' approach to offering solutions based on detailed fact find
  • Quickly build great rapport with potential Umbrella employees and Limited Company clients
  • Handling objections and closing sales on the first call
  • Ensure all leads are chased, followed-up across at different times of the day to make the most of the referrals ensuring a high level of conversion
  • Provide updates to the relevant Agency Sales Team member or relationship manager on progress of leads and outcomes
  • Undertake sales activity to maximise retention of existing customer base
  • Keep up to date with changes to the company's services and retain knowledge around compliance metrics
  • Liaise with Operational teams to escalate customer issues when prompted to do by either the agency consultant or Sales team
  • Ensure all appropriate systems are kept up to date with relevant information relating to the sales and conversion process at all times
  • To learn and retain product knowledge of the company's services and processes

Essential requirements for the job:

  • Experienced sales / telesales / telemarketing / business development / account management environment
  • Previous experience of working towards KPIs and sales targets with demonstrable track record of successful performance
  • Understand how to structure a sales call; rapport building, objection handling and different closing techniques
  • Previous experience of cross-selling / up-selling with demonstrable track record of success
  • Previous experience of building relationships remotely and face-to-face
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Knowledge of umbrella and limited company or payroll (increased advantage)
  • Knowledge of the recruitment industry (significant advantage)
  • Good problem solving skills and good level of objection handling
  • Good level of numeracy
  • Results-oriented with a positive outlook
  • Excellent multi-tasking ability & attention to detail
