Location: Fulham, SW6
Salary: From £35,000 dependent on skills and experience, rising in line with performance, plus opportunities for bonuses for successful product launches.
Working hours: 09:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday (Full time)
Minimum education: BSc / BEng in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Product Design or a similar discipline
Experience: Prior experience in a similar role
Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English

Flashbay currently has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a talented Product Designer to join our growing team.

The opportunity:

Flashbay, the premier supplier of logo branded USB flash drives, is currently in the process of expansion into a wider range of promotional technology products. Following on from the successful launch of our range of Power Banks we are looking to hire a Product Designer to integrate into our existing team, working on the design and development of new products across the USB flash drive, Power Bank and aligned promotional technology areas.

You will work as part of a global team focusing on the design and development of new products, taking responsibility for the full product development lifecycle from initial concept to successful launch. You will ensure that all products adhere to engineering best practices and international compliance and safety standards in addition to enhancing the Flashbay brand into areas beyond our current core strengths.

A competitive starting salary, from £35,000 dependent on skills and experience, will be offered to the right candidate for this challenging role. Your salary will rise in line with your performance.

The position is available immediately and open to all suitably qualified individuals who currently have the legal right to work in the UK. The desired candidate:

- You will have a BSc / BEng in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Product Design or a similar discipline.
- You will be experienced in the use of SolidWorks and conversant with other commonly used CAD applications.
- You will have prior experience in a similar role and will be able to demonstrate a range of designs which you have seen through to successful launch.
- You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You will be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, managing projects and resources as necessary to ensure a successful outcome.

Flashbay is based in offices conveniently located at Imperial Wharf, London SW6. Imperial Wharf London Overground station is 2 minutes walk away and links this exciting new development with Clapham Junction to the south (6 mins by train) and West Brompton to the north (2 minutes by train). Fulham Broadway is a convenient 15 minute stroll away, as is the famous King's Road in Chelsea.
