Working closely with businesses across Lancashire, and alongside the Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub, they have re-modelled their curriculum to help bridge the gap between education and industry. For example, their learners benefit from working on live project briefs set by employers, while doing so in a Real Working Environments - reflective of the workplace. They are also proud to announce that the College recently opened a new state-of the-art £13million iSTEM centre that will bring their 'One College' vision of teaching, learning and assessment and or ability to provide an exceptional service to their learners, business partners and stakeholders.

The Department of Externally Funded Programmes plays a vital role in the College's ability to respond to local and regional business needs whilst serving the community they are so proudly a part of. The provision of a high quality support service across the College is therefore central to their success and they are looking for an exceptional candidate to work with them to achieve their future goals. This role will be deployed to the Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub.

Job Title: Strategic Partnerships Manager - Adults

Salary: SCP 41 - £40,027 per annum pro rata.

Hours: Full Time - 37 hours per week - 1.0 FTE. Fixed term until the end of March 2018 (possible extension to July 2018).

They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and forward thinking individual to join their Externally Funded Programmes Team at their College but deployed to the Employment Hub You will be qualified to Level 4 and have experience of governance within European Social Funds (ESF) and of developing strategic delivery models which involve multiple partners.
