The Role

The role will support managing marketing, content & tech spend within the Sky Gaming P&L. The successful candidate will be working closely with the business to analyse performance to determine what is successful in driving customer behaviour as well as producing monthly P&L views of costs and monitoring future spend v forecast. It will include looking at marketing spend, Revenue share agreements, and different pricing and promotional activity as well as regular project work to provide financial support for new initiatives and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of month end accruals and prepayments
• Prepare monthly revenue and cost reviews with analysis of key drivers for variances, commentary and challenges to the business.
• Develop regular performance reporting for both customer, product and marketing activity to gain insight into to what is successful to inform future activity and forecasts.
• Assist with the preparation of the 5Yr business plan model, budgets and forecasts.
• Provide Financial and Commercial Support to the business within a fast moving and very competitive industry sector.
• Undertaking ad hoc commercial project work, liaising with relevant insight colleagues and where appropriate presenting findings back to the management group.
• Working with external auditors relating to audit queries.
• Maintenance of balance sheet reconciliations and submissions

Key Characteristics & Experience

• Part or newly qualified accountant through a recognised professional body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc)
• Proven track record for getting things done on time and to a high quality
• Strong business partnering skills - articulate with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Enthusiastic with the ability to work using own initiative and with a questioning nature.
• Experience of management accounting, reporting and forecasting.
