Job Title: Product Advisor

Location: South of England - Territories include: South Wales, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Herefordshire and Berkshire

Salary: Competitive Salary + Excellent OTE

Job Role:

The company is looking for an outgoing 'people person' sales professional who is looking for an enjoyable, rewarding and fulfilling career opportunity. You should be ambitious, self-motivated with a strong practical streak. This varied role will put you at the forefront of our customer relationship, building rapport with children with special needs, their parents/carers, therapists and other professionals, as well as key decision makers in public sector procurement.

Assessment & Recommendation:

  • Providing assistance to customers in carrying out product assessments and setting up new products with children in a variety of settings (home, school etc).
  • Promoting and educating customers on the full range of 24 hour positioning products available through Jiraffe.
  • Carrying out service inspections in Stores, homes, schools etc.

Sales Area Development:

  • To build and maintain relationships with paediatric therapists within your territory through the provision of outstanding customer service and support.
  • To identify and maximise opportunities to broaden our customer base and achieve sales at targeted levels throughout the territory.

Essential Skills:

  • Observant, analytical and able to solve problems.
  • Practical and technically competent to understand, use and adjust products proficiently.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills: to be able to talk and discuss your recommendations with children with special needs and their therapists, parents, teachers and others in their support network as appropriate.
  • Awareness and empathy for the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and their families.
  • Confident talking and presenting to groups.
  • Managing your diary to maximise customer contact time and keep appointment lead times for customers to a minimum.
  • IT literate - familiarity with Microsoft office and the ability to learn and use new systems

Desirable skills:

  • Understanding and ability to correctly identify and apply "corrective actions" to children's posture using products based on a thorough understanding of child development and special needs.
  • Understanding and ability to engage with the complex arrangements for the provision of children's equipment.
