Our Learning Disability, Autism, Mental Health, Physical Disability and Children’s services support people who have a range of complex needs, using a person-centred approach. We provide choice to enable independence so that people can access everyday life experiences including education, employment and social activities, developing relationships and maintaining a home.

Support Worker Grade 2

• Part Time: Up to 35 hours per week. Ref: DGW/16/14.
• Salary: £15,603 - £17,465 pro rata, per annum (£7.69 - £8.61 per hour) - (Salary under review: £8.25 minimum).
• Location: Dumfries and Galloway – Wigtownshire area.

Has experience, personal or professional of providing social care-type supports to an individual in their own home or on a social care providers premises.

Support may be required to support people on holidays, this post will include sleepovers, waking nights, weekends and unsocial hours and you may be away from home for periods of up to 24 hours.

This post will include personal care. Good housekeeping and cooking skills are also essential.
