To support the infrastructure of the new exciting expansion of facilities on our Flagship resort, we are now seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Manager at The Warren Holiday Resort, Abersoch, Gwynedd, North Wales.

The Maintenance & Facilities Manager will form an integral part of the North Wales Operations team contributing to the development of a high performing and positive team delivering high quality maintenance and a first class Customer Service ethos.

The successful applicant will lead our Maintenance & Grounds team and will be responsible for empowering the team to bring their core behaviour and values to work each and every day. You will need to be able to operate in a fast paced environment whilst being pro-active and maintaining a high level of productivity, accuracy and attention to detail at all times.

Required Qualifications & Experience

You must be qualified in plumbing installation to a minimum of City & Guilds Part 1 and 2 (or equivalent) and/or NVQ Level 3 Heating & Engineering. Must also be up to date Gas Safe, desirably LPG, Caravans & Holiday homes.

In the absence of Gas Safe Qualifications, you must be NICEIC 17th Edition qualified.

Possess proven strong Leadership and Team Management Skills.

Maintenance & Facilities Manager Main Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the control of contractors ensuring that all contractors are inducted to site, and that they have the appropriate Liability Insurance, COP, Risk Assessments and issuing permits to work.
  • Identifying issues and ensuring management processes are executed appropriately to achieve resolution, including providing employee relations support as required.
  • Identifying, managing and encouraging the training and development of all team members ensuring they all have a personal development plan in place. Coaching, mentoring and supporting team members in the creation of a coaching culture within Haulfryn.
  • Conducting 1:1 team meetings with direct line reports
  • To manage the workload of the Maintenance & Grounds team, through internal systems and by checking performance through regular visits to work in progress.
  • To oversee delivery and siting of homes, disconnection and reconnection.
  • To support the monthly site audit program, taking responsibility to ensure all maintenance related inspections are up to date and certificates are in place. To create a 52 week planner and be fully aware of any PPM works that is due at the respective parks.
  • Working effectively with core support functions, developing trusting and effective working relationships, to include; driving the maintenance performance for the North Wales parks, measuring jobs and productive hours per man, KPI targets, Net Operating Income, Customer Service performance targets and NPS.
  • Ability to manage own time effectively, prioritising tasks when required, multitasking and meeting deadlines.

Hours of work:

The successful Maintenance & Facilities Manager will work from our holiday resort in Abersoch, North Wales and will be expected to work 45 hours per week over 5 days, operational over 7 days to meet business needs.

In return for your commitment, the successful Maintenance & Facilities Manager will receive an excellent starting salary of £30k - £35k per annum and eligible for company benefits*.
