PART-TIME TUTORS REQUIRED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

Langham Oaks Outreach Provision (LOOP) and

Harlow Education Consortium (HEC)

Part-time Tutors required as soon as possible

Salary:  £20 - £35 per hour (contact time only)  + mileage, depending upon qualifications and experience

We are seeking qualified Teachers, Teaching Assistants, HLTAs, Learning Mentors or Tutors with SEN experience to undertake 1:1 or small group tutoring work with primary age pupils. This will be in a community setting or occasionally in the home.  

These primary pupils are on reduced school timetables and need additional tuition, are on long-term fixed term exclusions, are experiencing some problems in mainstream school or may not be in any school as they are awaiting a school place.

You will be expected to develop a good rapport with pupils in order to support them so will have an understanding of SEN, be dynamic and proactive, with strong behaviour management, having had previous experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour. 

There will be a requirement to plan lessons and activities.

We are looking for applicants to be able to work at least three days a week and for at least three hours a day - however this is negotiable.
