JOB TITLE: Mobile Electrical Engineer JOB LOCATION:South West region, reporting to the Bristol office RESPONSIBLE TO: Projects Manager BRIEF DETAILS OF POSITION: A full time vacancy has become available for Electrical Engineers to join our Projects team based in the Bristol office. The purpose of the role is to carry out all electrical installation works on various sites to the highest standard in line with client specifications & drawings and current legislation to meet project timescales. Main Duties and Responsibilities include: - Carry out electrical installations in line with client specifications, best practice and current 17th Edition electrical installation standards - Be conversant with current Health & Safety legislation with relevance to safe working practices and attend tool box talks - Comply with Projects Department and Company procedures at all times - Complete a weekly timesheet and submit in accordance with Company procedures and submission deadlines - Maintain accurate records of works done and expenditure, using this information to report to the Projects Manager or Supervisor as required. - Liaise and co-ordinate site activities associated with services for which you are responsible, ie labour planning and ordering of materials. - Assist in the preparation of emergency contingency plans - Assist with co-ordination of all site activities and ensure all safety aspects are managed and monitored in accordance with site / contract procedures and requirements. - Take ownership of the client's needs and maintain effective communications with the client in order to build a stable relationship - Be proactive with regard to additional works - Operate Integral QA procedures and maintain clear and legible records as required - Be available to attend emergency call outs and provide written incident reports as required - Co-ordinate and manage all subcontractors activity relating to works undertaken - Ensure compliance with safe systems of work, risk assessments, method statements etc. and all relevant documentation is adhered to in accordance with company health and safety policy. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: - Qualified Electrician - A minimum of City & Guilds qualification within Building Services or equivalent - An excellent working knowledge of electrical installations - A good knowledge of building services with proven practical experience - Sound level of administration and organisational skills - Proven experience in leadership and control of a team on site - Proactive approach to all tasks undertaken - High standard of workmanship - Team player - Reliability - Full driving licence - Ability to work overtime as required DESIREABLE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS - Electrical Test & Inspection - 17th Edition IEE wiring regulations - Site Health & Safety training - First aid training - BMS/Controls experience - Knowledge of CDM regulations - Air Conditioning installation experience - Hours: Full Time = 40 hours a week - There is a company vehicle Salary: 30k per annum If you are an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer with a proactive and efficient approach looking for a rewarding role in an exciting and industry leading company, please apply.
