My client, a local well known business with an impressive product range is seeking to add a Procurement Officer / Buyer to its team due to an internal sideways move.
You will be working in an open-plan office environment with an established, stable & happy team.
We are looking for a well rounded procurement team member who is comfortable working alone, to clearly set deadlines for parts as well as being responsible for the development of new suppliers and negotiations on price.
The client has preset lead times on their products so this isn't a last-minute high stress buyers position, it just requires a highly organised individual able to manage their time effectively.
This position is open to any form of procurement background and does not require CIPS.
This position may see the candidate assume a Managerial position within the business in the future so ambition is important to my client.

* ERP experience (desirable but not mandatory)
