Key Stage Two Primary Teacher - Burnham-on-Sea area Your new schoolYour new primary school was most recently rated 'Good' by Ofsted. It is a 2 form entry primary school meaning you would have another class teacher to share planning & assessment with. This Burnham-on-Sea school is ideally located and offers great support for any teacher, from NQT upwards. Welcoming and approachable team of staff, who all work well as a team and pride themselves on the tight knit relationship they enjoy.Your new roleYour new role will be 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday) and will be in a Year 5 class in a 2 form entry. Planning and provision is split between yourself and another Year 5 teacher, meaning collaboration is a key skill for success. There will be approximately 26 students in the class, and you will also have the support of a Teaching Assistant who will also be in your class. Your role will commence in January and will initially run until the end of the academic year with a probability that it will be extended beyond.What you'll need to succeedYou must have strong communication skills and will be confident when dealing with parents, colleagues and students alike. You will have experience in Key Stage 2 and be keen to take on a class that is already achieving age related expectations and maintain their performance. You must have a drive and passion to deliver clear concise lessons at an appropriate pace for all in the class.
