Machine Setter

Machine Setter Location: Bridgwater, Somerset Salary: Competitive Duties of the Machine Setter: Our client is a small thermoforming company based in Bridgwater, Somerset. They produce plastic trays of all varieties- but mainly for the food industry, and have been manufacturing for over 20 years. Our client is looking for a new Setter to join their expanding team. Setters are required to complete tool changes on GN and Illig machines in order to run them to optimum quality and speed. They are also expected to perform basic maintenance tasks, correct any issues with quality, and generally help out with the day to day running of the machines such as reel changes and scrap baling. An ability to follow policies and procedures is critical due to our client's Health and Safety standards and the need for their industry relevant certificates. All employees at our client's company need to work in a safe, logical, 'clean as you go' manner. Some mechanical knowledge will be an advantage in this role to help with the above. Any candidates must be punctual, reliable, and preferably have experience on GN and ILLIG machines in a manufacturing environment.
