One of the regions most successful Motor Groups is looking for a Stock Administrator. Job Purpose:To maintain stock system including loading vehicles, updating status of vehicle throughout procurement and sales process, liaise with suppliers on stock ETA's and provide accurate information to the sales teams. Major Functions: 1. Maintain Stock System 2. Production of Stock Reports Specific Duties: ? Maintain Stock System: ? Book in new stock onto internal system including key information such as paperwork that came with the car ? Update due in cars status daily and liaise with external suppliers and our buyers for ETA's on the stock ? Work alongside group buyers to give expectations of timescales of all new stock and track vehicles through the refurb process ? Liaise with logistic companies for delivery of vehicles and organise internal stock movements ? Collate information from stock lists from multiple suppliers in different formats to update our own internal systems ? Maintaining the company's fleet system for all company cars and also administer group insurance details for all employees ? Administer daily/weekly price changes on our internal system and then produce updated stock /price changes sheets for all sites ? Process cancelled deals on sales system and card refunds to customers ? Production of group stock reporting: ? Production of internal stock management information sheets consistent of aged stock lists in varied formats ? Producing remittances for suppliers and inputting supplier invoice information onto the stock system ? Using various sources of information to produce a daily potential stock list for all new vehicles offered/purchased. Including part exchanges into the business. This also includes dealing with multiple third party suppliers for the newly offered vehicles ? Produce a daily summary report of the current stock allocations, stock statuses and advertised figures for the whole group ? Download and export third party sales and performance figures to help with our company's pricing strategies daily ? Produce a weekly stock list for the group to complete a physical stock check on all sites, then action information returned and update system accordingly General RequirementsThe role is office based and therefore a degree of computer literacy will be required, experience using Microsoft Office in particular a basic knowledge of Excel would be preferable. The stock administrator will be communicating with various internal colleagues and external suppliers so good communication skills and an ability to interact easily with others is required. To comply with all relevant Health & Safety regulations and assist the Business in the implementation of its own Health & Safety regulations. Undertake such duties as may be reasonably required commensurate with the level of responsibility within the Business at the initial place of work or any other of the Businesses sites.
