Our client is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity. They now help around 200,000 cats and kittens through their network of over 250 volunteer-run branches and 32 adoption centres and homing centres.
They now have a vacancy for a full-time (35 hours per week) Partnerships Assistant, to support the Corporate Partnerships Manager and implement the corporate partnerships fundraising plan to increase sustainable net income.
In this exciting role you will support the team in helping cultivate relationships with existing partners and potential partners to increase income and non-financial benefits for the charity. This will include working on national projects, affinity partnerships, payroll giving, corporate volunteering and working closely with colleagues and their network to ensure the effective implementation of corporate partnerships and projects.
You will also assist the team with new business enquiries and administration, including invoicing, ordering fundraising materials, artwork approvals, organising corporate fundraising events and updating internal communications and their CRM database.
The successful candidate will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to build strong relationships both internally and externally and have good planning and organisational skills. In addition, they will need a positive, resilient attitude, be able to meet deadlines, and be flexible and adaptable. Experience of working in a charity or corporate discipline would be an advantage.
The position will be based in Chelwood Gate, Sussex.
