Telesales Executive
Reports To: Operations Manager
Based: Sony UK Technology Centre, Bridgend, CF35 5HZ
Salary: National Minimum Wage plus monthly bonus

Job Purpose
Our client currently has a vacancy for a Telesales Executive and would welcome applications from candidates who are looking to develop their career and skills within their company.

As a Telesales Executive you will work within the sales team working alongside a Field Sales Account Manager. As a key person in the sales team you will support all sales and marketing campaigns and initiatives, arrange new customer appointments, liaise with existing customers, maintain appointment calendar as well work to defined call targets. Your aim will be to develop customer relations and drive new business through providing excellent support, communication and first class customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Arrange appointments
  • Support Field Sales Account Manager
  • Send follow-up emails/mailshots to prospective customers based on marketing plan and initiatives
  • Contact existing customers with suggestions and promotions
  • Conduct customer satisfaction calls and surveys
  • Outbound calling with the aim of generating new sales leads; targeted on call performance
  • Excellent customer service with a can-do attitude

Key Skills/Responsibilities

  • Previous outbound, sales or telesales experience
  • Strong communication skills – able to confidently speak to other B2B professionals in an informative and helpful manner
  • Able to negotiate effectively
  • Target-driven
  • A positive attitude and the ability to think on your feet

Education and Experience
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent including English and Mathematics at Grade C or above

Your knowledge of general IT systems and applications including the MSOffice Suite (Word and Excel) and an excellent understanding of the internet.

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have previous outbound sales experience within a Telesales based role (using a dialler system).
