Our client is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity. They now help around 200,000 cats and kittens through their network of over 250 volunteer-run branches and 32 adoption centres and homing centres.

They have a vacancy for a full-time (35 hours per week) Trusts Officer, to support the High Value Giving team, with particular emphasis on trust fundraising. 

In this exciting role you will help develop relationships with trusts and grantmakers, supporting the Trusts Fundraiser in making applications to secure funding for volunteer branches, capital projects and central funds. Key tasks will include prospect research, thanking and management of a portfolio of smaller trusts.

The successful candidate will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to build strong relationships and have good planning and organisational skills. In addition, they will need a positive, resilient attitude, be able to meet deadlines, and be flexible and adaptable.

The position can either be based from home or in Chelwood Gate, Sussex.
