JOB TITLE: Experienced Automotive Paint Sprayer

SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP Dependant on experience

WORKING HOURS: Full-Time, Permanent

THE COMPANY: Our client, based in Barnsley, has over fifty years of industry-leading composite manufacturing experience, specialise in premium quality lightweight race and rally components to the Motor sport industry. They are seeking an experienced automotive paint sprayer for ongoing work.

THE ROLE: Experienced Automotive Paint Sprayer- Barnsley, South Yorkshire

Based in Barnsley, my client is looking for experienced, hands on Paint Sprayers.
The Position is for an individual who can work under their own initiative and capable of producing a high standard of workmanship.
The business is focused mainly on classic road and competition cars; any experience in this area is preferable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities of a Paint Sprayer to include:-
  • You will be responsible for the preparation of the vehicle/panels prior to painting, which may include panel fitting, filling, masking, sanding.

  • Application of primarily 2 pack/k2 paints, finishing and detailing.

  • Attention to detail, quality of the finished product whilst keeping a tidy work area and maintaining the equipment provided are of the utmost importance

THE CANDIDATE: Experienced Automotive Paint Sprayer- Barnsley, South Yorkshire

The successful candidate must have experience in all areas of the process including preparation, spraying, finishing and the operation/maintenance of associated equipment.


Key experience essential for the Paint Sprayer role:
  • Previous Automotive Paint Spraying experience is highly essential

  • Ability to work to high quality standard

  • Ability to work as part of a team to define and solve problems that may be affecting the quality, cost or productivity of the parts being produced
  • Understand and follow detailed work instructions relating to the painting of parts, completing within specified timescales
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow direct processes and procedures
  • Quality focused with meticulous attention to detail
