HR Advisor - Edinburgh
Cathcart Energy is currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor for our central Edinburgh based client in the renewable energy industry.
This is a maternity cover role for 13 months with full benefits to start in February 2017 until the end of march 2018.
You will be joining a fun and friendly team supporting an office that acts as north Europe headquarters. And so will be involved in interesting and challenging European HR work.
Applicants will ideally be qualified CIPD or be working towards this and have at least 3 years experience working in an HR role. You will need to have been working at advisor level or equivalent already in some form.
You will also need to have experience in the following areas:
- Employment law
- Disciplinaries
- handling grievances
- Advising managers
- Mentoring junior colleagues
- Managing difficult conversations with staff
- Managing recruitment of highly skilled professionals
This will be a varied role involving lots of project work and development of recruitment and training plans for the north Europe region as well as developing HR policies.
