Our client is looking for a qualified Health and Social Care Assessor to join their team in a field based role travelling throughout London.

It is essential that candidates hold a CAVA / TAQA, A1 or D32/ D33 Assessing Award.

You will need a strong background in Health and Social Care (Adult / Elderly Care) to Supervisory / Managerial level and a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Care.

To be considered for this role the client are looking for someone who is able to bring business with them in the form of learners or companys. The company do employ a small sales team for additional business but they are generally very successful with referrals and working with repeat business due to the value they place in offering a high quality service.

About the company

Private Training provider that has recently achieved a grade 2 Ofsted rating. They have an office based in south London close to a major train station with good transport links.

They describe themselves as a quality company who are considerate, supportive and have a low staff turnover. They currently employ around 30 staff including 16 assessors and are looking to grow their team.

They encourage regular team meetings normally on a weekly basis to help build a close knit team, share best practice and enable everyone to catch up on things in the business.

Role purpose

Provide and support a caseload of candidates, 40 to 45 in number ensuring at least 90% of candidates allocated successfully achieve their qualifications and at least 90% of these complete in a timely manner. Company will be using e-portfolios from January 2017.

Responsibility:

* Actively seek out opportunities to recruit new learners and support the recruitment process as required
* Induct new candidates, completing all paperwork
* Provide training, support and assessment to a caseload of candidates
* Hold training/assessment meetings with candidates at least monthly
* Hold group training sessions/workshops as required
* Facilitate and ensure successful completion of all aspects of the framework, including Functional Skills
* Track and report learner progress, completions due and visits
* Manage candidate relationships
* Report any concerns relating to a candidate promptly and work with candidates/employers to provide individual action plans
* Manage relationships with employers, provide regular progress reports

Hours: 37.5 hours Monday - Friday

Holidays: 21 days per annum + Bank holidays. Potential for increases

Salary:£27,000 - £32,000 per annum DOE

Travel:Field based role with travel throughout London. Travelling expenses covered. Business mileage 30p per mile
