IT Projects Assistant
We require an IT Projects Assistant with WordPress experience to join our digital marketing team.
Your experience working with WordPress will be used in the design and development of a range of websites delivering content to sports coaches around the world.
You should have an interest and experience in front-end web development and the creation and integration of APIs. The role reports to the Projects Manager.
About the IT Projects Assistant role
Working across a range of projects your responsibilities (will include but are not limited to):
- Creating, editing and enhancing WordPress websites.
- Creating, editing and enhancing WooCommerce stores.
- Connecting sites and databases by developing and editing APIs
- Improving and reporting on SEO performance
About you
The IT Projects Assistant role does not require any formal qualifications, however to fulfil these projects you will need to demonstrate proficiency with:
- WordPress
- CSS
- HTML
- JS
- Google (Analytics / Search Console / Keyword Tool / Dev tools)
A demonstrable understanding of Search Engine Optimisation is beneficial but not essential.
The successful IT Projects Assistant will be a self-starter who enjoys problem solving and is looking to develop their skills in online marketing and web development. You will be comfortable following specific direction and possess a keen eye for detail.
The role provides opportunities to be involved in many varied and interesting projects for a niche online retailer in the sports industry. An interest in sports is an advantage but not essential.
Hours and Salary
Based in our office just outside of Guildford this is a full-time position: 9.00-5.30, Mon-Fri.
The IT Projects Assistant position offers a competitive salary – subject to experience – to be discussed at the interview stage.
