Foot Anstey have an exciting opportunity available for a Lead Reception and Events Coordinator to join the team based in Plymouth. You will receive a highly competitive salary & benefits package.

As our Lead Reception and Events Coordinator you will lead the Reception and Events team, accountable for ensuring the provision a first class and specialist client experience to internal and external clients for the full operating hours of the reception area.

Key responsibilities as our Lead Reception and Events Coordinator

- Accountable for the day-to-day operational service and team leadership within the client suite including on site events management.

- Accountable for the day to day coordination of the reception team and providing support and guidance to the other receptionists through hands on training and regular 1-1s.

- Ensuring all visitors are welcomed professionally and prompt contact is made with the expecting member of staff.

- The main point of contact for clients, organisers, speakers and other appropriate staff in the client suite.

- Responsible for organising the setting up and clearing down rooms in line with bookings for events /meetings etc. This will involve setting up Audio Visual equipment and working closely with the Business Services team to arrange additional cover for the moving of furniture and walls.

- To take a pro-active approach in relation to coordinating bookings on the client suite. This will include liaising with key stakeholders and event organisers to ensure a first class/5 star service is provided.

- Taking accountability for the client suite ensuring it is maintained as being fit for purpose (encompassing the client rooms and toilet facilities together with electrical equipment), and all events are planned in advance to enhance the overall client experience

- Accountable for managing car parking for the office

- This role will require a flexible approach to working arrangements owing to involvement and support of events booked on the client suite (e.g. breakfast seminars and evening events)

Skills and Attributes needed to become our Lead Reception and Events Coordinator

- Experience of working in top level (5 star) client service provision (reception, catering, event management)

- Must present an appropriate and professional public image and communicate in an effective and business-like manner with all levels of staff

- Must have the ability to deal with difficult issues and resolving whilst liaising with internal and external clients

- Ability and experience of managing and working as part of a team

- Must have and develop a knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and practices
