Based mainly at our Burslem Campus, you will teach a range of subjects including life and living skills, personal and social development and employability skills to learners with learning difficulties and disabilities. This will include extensive collaboration with learning support assistants as well as providing pastoral care. You will also contribute to internal verification and standardisation meetings.

Your background in teaching will include support of people with learning difficulties or disabilities. You will either hold a teaching qualification i.e. CTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE or DTLLS, or be committed to, as a minimum, achieving the certificate in Education and Training (CET) qualification. This includes attainment of Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English (GCSE A* - C or equivalent).  Excellent communication, personal organisation and administration skills are essential.
