Administration Apprenticeship Level 2

Salary £3.40 per hour

Fixed term appointment for 12 - 16 months

An opportunity has arisen for an Administration Apprentice based at Mid Devon District Council working in our Street Scene Services based at Carlu Close in Willand. This is a trainee role and the successful candidate will be working within a small but busy office environment. You will be involved in a range of administrative functions such as filing, dealing with the post, data entry, photocopying and scanning.

The successful candidate will undertake the majority of the training at Mid Devon District Council. This will include on the job training as well as working towards a Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Business Administration.

You will gain experience of using Microsoft applications and general office administration. The job role and responsibilities will focus on routine tasks and activities which will support your learning and development as you progress through your apprenticeship.

Training on the Apprenticeships Programme for 16 to 18 year olds is a priority and fully-funded by Government.  However we welcome applicants of any age to apply for this post.

A satisfactory basic disclosure check and three years complete employment history will be requested in the event of you being offered the position.
