Web & Graphic Designer

Usay Compare are looking to recruit an experienced web and graphic designer who will join the business at an exciting time of growth.

The role includes the following areas of responsibility:

- Designing graphics, banners and other online media
- Designing and coding responsive email marketing templates
- Designing page templates - including text sizes, colours, etc
- Design and coding using a variety of software - including Abobe Creative Suite
- Proof-reading and suggesting changes where necessary
- Liaising closely with rest of marketing team and IT department
- Liaising closely with any creative marketing agencies we work with
- On-going website testing and suggestions for improvement
- Researching current design and development trends

Required Skills

- Latest HTML and CSS knowledge and ability (HTML5 and CSS3)
- Latest JQuery knowledge and applicable experience
- Experience coding mobile first responsive websites
- Experience coding mobile first responsive email templates
- A vivid imagination - to bring ideas and opportunities together
- Good communicator
- Works well as part of a team

Desirable Skills

- Experience coding for PHP based Content Management Systems.
- Understanding of technical SEO and implementation - including Schemaorg, image compression and minifying CSS.
- Experience building accelerated mobile pages
