++ Calling candidates with customer / contact centre experience ++

We are in one of the most dynamic periods in our history as technology, globalism and economic diversity create far-reaching changes in the world.

The demand for knowledge and learning has never been greater, and we are at the forefront of meeting that need.

As a learning business, we make meaningful contributions to research discovery and lifelong learning by helping organisations achieve their goals and people achieve success from education through their career. We may have been founded over two centuries ago, but our secret to success remains the same: change with the times and adapt to meet the ever-evolving needs of our customers.

The Online Learning Advisor / Student Coordinator Opportunity:

In this fascinating role, you’ll work with students from around the world. You will help them to achieve the further education they dream of, and achieve their ambitions - for their learning, their careers and their lives. You will be a key member of a team that is growing due to increasing demand. The team works closely with a number of partner universities to ensure they can recruit high quality students. Based in a fast paced contact centre environment, you’ll make and receive calls to and from students who need to make the right decisions about postgraduate study.

Your responsibilities will include providing information, answering their questions, guiding them through the selection process, scheduling appointments, and conducting interviews to find out more information. Ultimately, you will help them to find the course that fits their ambitions.

About You:

Qualified to degree level, you are a driven and highly organised individual. Ideally, you will have some experience of sales. You will certainly be a customer focused person who will relish the opportunity to speak with and support all kinds of people, from all sorts of backgrounds and cultures. You also enjoy working in fast paced environments. Equally confident working independently and as part of a team, you are keen to continue learning and developing.

The Rewards:

We have always valued our people. We work collaboratively, enjoy what we do and have opportunities to develop throughout our careers. And the rewards are impressive. Which means you can look forward to a competitive salary, defined contribution pension scheme, 25 days’ holiday (pro rata), third staff discounts and employee assistance programme. You will also benefit from a flexible scheduling policy that helps you achieve a good work/life balance.

About the Company:

We are a provider of content-enabled solutions that improve outcomes in research, education, and professional practice. Our core businesses produce scientific, technical, medial, and scholarly journals, reference works, books, database services, and advertising; professional books, subscription products, certification and training services and online applications and education content and services including integrated online teaching and learning resources for undergraduate and graduate students and lifelong learners. The company’s headquarters are located in Hoboken, New Jersey, with operations in the U.S., Europe, Asia, Australia, and Canada.

The role-holder will hold the in-house title of Student Recruitment Coordinator.
