Customer Services Consultant - Pension New Business

Salary: GBP15,015 - GBP18,000 depending on experience + benefits (28 days holiday, pension, annual bonus)

Location Edinburgh

They have exciting opportunities for Customer Service Consultants to join the Group Customer Services division in Edinburgh

Working within the Group Pensions team your role will be to provide a high level of customer services and administrative support to clients.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring that both Group Personal Pension and Automatic Enrolment schemes are set up as per the Employer/Adviser requirements and working closely with the Implementation Manager to ensure that this happens correctly and on a timely basis.
  • Ensuring that all incoming call and e-mail queries are resolved in a timely fashion to the satisfaction of our customers (both internal and external).
  • Problem solving of client queries and escalating issues to team managers as necessary.
  • Accurate maintenance of client files and data.

Required knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Excellent customer service skills ideally with experience within a similar role.
  • Financial Services knowledge/experience an advantage but not essential
  • Excellent organisation and administration skills
  • A polite and professional telephone manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Basic office skills (preferably gained in an office environment)
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Enthusiastic and positive can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
