Production Manager (Manufacturing)

£30k - £35k D.O.E + pension
Our client has identified an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to join their growing business and lead an experienced production team. They are a national organisation selling and installing a range of specialist blinds manufactured at its production facility in Bedminster, Bristol.
Position Summary
As Production Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of production and will thrive in leading the already established production team.
Your daily roles and responsibilities will include:
• Leading and managing the production team of around 15 employees
• Monitor and report on production output
• Plan production for efficiency and to ensure production targets are met
• Measure and continuously improve quality
• Plan and implement improvements to the production process
• Manage stock and oversee purchasing
• Liaise with key suppliers
• Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will hold the relevant experience and qualifications to undertake this role, including;
• Previous experience within a manufacturing production environment is essential
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of production scheduling, purchasing, quality control and people management
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong mathematical skills
• Must be IT literate and competent with Microsoft Excel
