Job Title: Repair Centre Manager

Location: South Mimms

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000

The company is the world's leading provider of point of care systems in healthcare. They are driving clinical and management efficiency through a range of value added services for healthcare providers.

The main scope of this role will be to lead and manage a team in South Mimms, ensuring the efficient and professional running of the repair centre. You will oversee the repairs of all Bedside Equipment and be responsible for promoting good Health and Safety practice through the repair centre. You will contribute to the company goal of maximising up time. You will also manage the accurate recording and accountability of all stock within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly and quarterly review of working procedures, with actions to improve.
  • Regular staff appraisal and target setting.
  • Staff management to maintain production levels and site behavioural expectations in line with company policies.
  • Enforce good working practices in the repair environment.
  • Ensure accurate accountability of company assets using the WMS system.
  • Management and effective upkeep of bedside unit test equipment
  • Maintain and support all site systems and to escalate systems/network issues to Tier 2 support where applicable
  • Monitoring stock levels including consumables and ordering spares
  • Manage the stock in the warehouse by ensuring the warehouse team keep an accurate record of all deliveries
  • Enforce a clean and tidy warehouse policy
  • Prepare deliveries as required for T3 installations
  • Ensuring all site staff comply with health and safety legislation
  • Report to the Service Support Manager on a weekly basis
  • Be proactive in managing underperformance and put in place performance improvement plans or action plans to deal with poor performance, in line with the company procedures.
  • Monitor and compile historical data, to identify issues and react to minimise the impact on the business.
  • Act as a point of contact for the repair centres, and deal with areas of dissatisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain sound working relationships, offering constant support to internal teams.
  • Work with the Planning and distribution manager assist in delivering an efficient logistics process, delivering equipment in a timely and cost effective manner.
  • Be accountable for the stock management process on site, auditing on a regular basis to ensure accurate tracking of company assets.
  • Act as a point of contact for the landlords of the premises, forming a strategic partnership.
  • Act as Point of contact for all contractors associated with the repair centre.
  • Communicate with the other Repair centre manager to ensure best practise and procedures are in place to maximise productivity
