A vacancy exists due to maternity leave for a Temporary Research Assistant based in the Research and Economics Department at the Union’s Manchester Office. The position is Grade 4, salary £28,954 pa rising to £35,728 pa after 3 years’ service (pay award pending).
Principal duties are: to take responsibility for providing a support service to a National Officer and providing advice and information on industrial relations and other issues.
The successful applicant will possess: research skills, an appreciation of the Trade Union Movement and must be educated to degree level or have equivalent relevant experience in a research-related role.
