Innovation Consultant

Harvey Nash's Public Sector client in Edinburgh requires an Innovation Consultant for 8-month contract position.

This role would suit a candidate with extensive experience of implementing innovative and effective changes into large complex projects. You will be tasked with promoting the benefits of innovation through collaboration between industry and academia to meet the project objectives

You will be involved in developing comprehensive relevant knowledge about research and innovation expertise and opportunities across Scotland, identifying and securing potential future sources of funding and help to lever funds into existing projects. You will also play a part in maximising potential and sustainability of projects, as well as work with industry, academia and funding bodies to ensure that projects are developed in the most effective way to exploit collaboration opportunities

Essential Criteria:

. Experience creating networking frameworks that address exiting issues in both the project and organisational setting
. Skills in collaborating within industry and experienced in developing innovative solutions to achieve transformational business benefits
. Skilled in providing innovative changes to ongoing large-scale projects
. Experience of impacting projects that span multiple organisations and industries
. Strong stakeholder engagement skills
. You will also have a full driving licence and access to a car and also be willing to undertake regular travel
