Due to continued expansion they are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Manager to join their existing hard working team located in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.

THE ROLE: As a Health and Safety Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the companies Health and Safety Department. Daily duties will include the maintenance of the ISO systems and procedures, auditing, identify and monitor actions of H & S risks, as well as Keeping up to date with Health and Safety legislation.

It is envisioned that this be a Full Time position but flexibility for this to be a Part time role for the right candidate.

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Health and Safety Manager's role in Ilkeston, Derbyshire must have IOSH or CIEH membership and have previous experience as a Health and Safety Manager or within a senior Health and safety role. You should be a hard working person who is well organised and can prioritise your workload and tasks effectively. Good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Word is essential.

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Health and Safety Manager's role in Ilkeston, Derbyshire :-

- Must be IOSH or CIEH member
- Previous working experience within a Health and Safety role is essential
- Good IT skills essential
- Must have good knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Must be well organised and able prioritise work load effectively
