LOCATION: Ilkeston, Derbyshire
JOB TITLE: Driver / Workshop Operative
SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive dependent on skills & experience
WORKING HOURS: Full Time - Monday to Friday - plus on call rota
THE COMPANY: Our client are one of the country's leading power generation specialists that provides solutions, maintenance, sales and hire to customers across the UK. Due to continued expansion they are currently recruiting for a reliable Driver / Workshop Operative to join their existing hard working team located in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.

THE ROLE: As a Driver / Workshop Operative you would join our clients existing busy generator hire team. Daily duties would include utilising our client's 4x4 vehicles to tow generators to sites, maintain the cleanliness of equipment, and assist with other general Workshop duties. Our client operate as a 24hour call out facility so require candidates to be fable to commit to an on call rota which would require you to occasionally be on call. There is a call out fee which would be added to Salary.
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Driver / Workshop Operative must hold a full UK driving licence with the ability to tow trailers so candidates must have B+E entitlement on their licence. You must be a hard working person who is reliable as well as flexible with the hours availabjle to work.
Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Driver / Workshop Operative's role in Ilkeston, Derbyshire :-
- Must have valid UK driving licence
- B+E entitlement and experience towing a trailer is essential
- Must be a hard working and organised person
- Ability to be flexible with the hours you can work and being available to be part of the on call rota is essential
