Velo - London SE1

The agency

We’re a small but mighty digital content and communications agency with an enviable client list.  With a tight team of 12, we create beautiful websites packed with our original photography, video and words.  We get the right people to visit them using search, social, display and email.  And we do it all in-house.  It’s a close knit team, who are prepared to get their hands dirty and work closely together to make things happen.

We’re ranked in the top 30 in the Drum’s digital census of top agencies (2016) and our enviable client list includes Babcock, Cisco, easyJet, Baylis & Harding, London Symphony Orchestra and more.  Although diverse and varied, we provide real expertise coupled with excellent client service that makes many choose us as their preferred digital agency year after year, and it why we were shortlisted in the annual Recommended Agency awards raking near the top of 8.100 UK agencies based on real client feedback.

The role

We’re looking for an account executive to work directly our clients, as well as assisting the Senior Account Manager with larger accounts.  You’ll have some sales experience in your background and be a confident, people person who is an excellent communicator on email and particularly on the phone/face to face.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Providing high quality, engaging service to our clients via phone, email and meetings
  • Supporting the Account Management team in implementation of both small and large projects including producing brief for our creative and development team.  Good, sound digital knowledge is important.
  • Generating reporting and invoicing across client campaigns and on our internal work-flow so we continue to deliver great service.
  • Acting as front of house when clients visit the office
  • Leading on the co-ordination of the agency’s own marketing efforts including administering our independent feedback process

The role needs someone who is creative, able to take the initiative, incredibly organised and has a keen eye for detail. We always have several projects running at once for different clients, so you’ll need to multi-task without missing deadlines.  You’ll be mature in outlook, have a least one year’s experience of working in a digital agency.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary depending on experience - £22,000 - £24,000
  • 28 days paid holiday per year, including shutting down between Christmas and New Year's Day.  An additional days holiday for your birthday and we have an early clock off at 3pm on a Friday, every week.
  • Fun, challenging projects across a varied customer base.  You will see evidence of your work as you travel around London.
  • Company pension, ride to work, childcare voucher schemes and travel card scheme available
  • Easy to reach office based in SE1, and a 5 minute walk from London Bridge.
  • We’re a small team so you’’ll be able to make your influence count both in how the agency works and on when you impress your ideas on our clients.
  • We invest in our team and will support you with training to help you develop your skills.

Job Type: Full-time, although we would consider part-time/flexible working for the right candidate.
