My client, a well established Software Solutions organisation, is seeking an experience Lead/Senior UI Developer is their head office in Oxford.
Role Description
You will be tasked with the important role in creating an excellent user experience for their clients. You will utilise your well grounded technical skills alongside you passion for delivering high quality user interfaces.
While working in an agile/scrum environment, these skills will be used to deliver contemporary of B2B web and mobile applications. You also act as a consultant to advise on areas where the UI can be improved and proactively deliver those improvements.
You will so be tasked to research new trends in UI development then introduce them to the company through documentation and training.
Responsibilities:- Build easy to use and high performance user experience solutions for their web and mobile products
- Lead and mentor other developers in the UI team
- Design and develop UI and Front End web applications, responsive across desktop and mobile
- Work with other colleagues understand UI requirements for their application products
- In an Agile/Scrum environment part take in daily stand-up meetings and retrospectives
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience as UI developer
- 3+ years of experience in a product company
- Experience leading and mentoring other developers
- Excellent coding skills in HTML5, CSS3, Sass, XML, XSLT, Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, node.js
- A strong understanding of JSON and AJAX
- Ability to work in a team
- Excellent hands on experience in web application software architecture and frameworks
- University degree in Computer Science or Graphic Design
- Self-motivated
- Be able to prioritise and delivering tasks independently as well as in a team
- Quick to learner
- Attention to detail
- Team leadership
- Passionate about achieving high standards
