Evolve's exclusive client are an established start up working on some of the most exciting commercial applications in the UK right now. They have gone through significant levels of investment and having successfully secured large scale client wins within the financial and public sectors they are now looking to expand their Edinburgh team. As a result, they are looking for a driven Senior-level Developer to join their business to lead the development team into the next phases of the company's growth. You will therefore need to bring your own ideas and initiative to the table and work directly with the company founders to structure and manage the business. The role is on a permanent basis.

You will be an individual with a blend of excellent technical skills (C#/, Java EE, SQL) and the interpersonal skills and drive to lead a small, highly skilled team in an entrepreneurial tech environment where honest, straight-talking idea sharing is the name of the game. Ideally you will come from a larger organisation and can bring knowledge and ideas of best-practice as the company looks to upscale operations.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• A Computer Science or IT related academic background or equivalent commercial experience within a large organisation
• Extensive Back End development knowledge in C#/or Java EE
• SQL and Database design
• Passion for technology and coming up with new ideas
• 1st class interpersonal skills and ability to articulate ideas on technology to individuals at all levels
• Prior experience of managing small development teams would be advantageous
