CAD Designer - Temporary One of our world renowned engineering clients who are the world leader in their industry, based in Clevedon, is looking to recruit someone who can fill the role of CAD Designer. They are looking for a Designer that can produce designs and drawings of components that can then be manufactured efficiently and economically. The key responsibilities for this role include: * Prepare designs/drawings for products/components for fit, form and function so that the product operates effectively, reliably and safely;* Ensure high quality designs and drawings are produced to the relevant standards;* Develop an understanding of manufacturing methods and processes used by Edwards and ensure these are related to designs; Ideally, all candidates with be proficient in 3D CAD software (preferably CATIA). Our client is also looking for an individual with relevant experience in a designer role. A good mechanically biased Engineering degree or other engineering qualification depending on experience. Added to this, previous experience of product data management software would also put the candidate at an advantage. The candidate should be self-managing and motivated, with good design discipline and approach.
