Knightstone Housing is a leading housing association in Somerset and the West of England, building vibrant, stable and safe communities where people can make their homes. We provide services to over 23,000 people in 11,000 homes.
We are looking for a Part time Scheme Manager at Knightstone Court, our sheltered scheme at Clevedon, North Somerset.
This is a scheme with 20 one bed flats in a quiet residential part of Clevedon for people aged over 60 years.
Staffed with a part time Scheme Manager, whose role is to support residents to maintain their tenancies and enable them to stay independent, your main tasks will include:
Completing tenancy management plans with residents individually to identify support needs and ensure appropriate support is provided.
Providing a complete housing management service and ensuring all health and safety regulations are met.
Managing the voids and lettings process and working to reduce rental arrears.
We are looking for someone with an empathy to the needs of an older age group and the initiative and drive to provide a responsive and sensitive service to meet a wide range of needs. Having excellent verbal and written communication skills will therefore be essential in dealing with not only the residents but a wide range of external agencies.
