My client is offering the right candidate a fantastic opportunity to join their already established and developed organisation. This is a position working for one of the world leaders in the design and manufacturing of RF equipment around the world.

You would be working on:

+ Design and develop a range of segments and equipment extending from simple metal housings to complex equipment, accommodating multiple interacting modules housed in densely populated chassis.

+ 3D models for concept visualisation and proof of mechanical design integrity

+ 3D parts and mechanical drawings for manufacturing purposes

+ Support design for cost effective manufacturing

+ Thermal analysis and design for efficient thermal dissipation

+ Interpret and produce block diagrams for in-house products

Qualifications and experience

+ Minimum of a 2:1 degree in a relevant engineering or science subject

+ Experience in 3D CAD engineering using Solid Works

+ Knowledge manufacturing processes and materials

+ Able to create manufacturing and assembly drawings to industry standards

+ Experience Leading/Mentoring
