Client is the UK's largest motor broker that are looking to hire a Head of Complex Loss Claims to provide operational leadership and drive claims strategy across large and complex claims departments.
Job Role
* Drive operational performance of the complex motor claims
* Manage and develop a team of Large Loss Handlers/Managers,
* Ensure fully efficient regulatory controls across the claims department
* Provide technical leadership and sign-off all high value losses, £1M+
* Represent the claims business in the market and speak at industry events where necessary
* Provide input to other teams such as underwriting and sales units
* Ensure selection of appropriate external suppliers and vendors
* Influence working culture and drive motivation levels across the claims team
Skills / Experience Required:
* Extensive experience leading a Complex Loss/ Personal Injury claims team
* Expert level complex, large loss capability, with strong knowledge of relevant case law
* Strong commercial awareness within motor insurance
* Ability to manage vendors, suppliers and third parties
* Ability to drive claims performance and strategy
* ACII / CII Preferred
