Our award-winning, global technology client is looking for a technical author to join its technical publications team. Working as part of a coordinated team, you will:
- Research, plan and write a range of topic-based technical content for customers' developers and engineers.
- Ensure that technical content complies with corporate and technical communications standards, and departmental processes are followed.
- Direct the work of a small team of two or three technical authors.
- Coach and mentor junior technical writers.
- Carry out peer reviews.
As the successful candidate you will have:
- Solid experience as a technical author.
Technical depth and focus in one of the following:
- Software (developer level documentation, programming/Scripting languages such as C, C++, Python) and the ability to learn technically complex hardware.
- Hardware (microprocessors, electronics engineering, System-on-Chip).
- A real appetite and enthusiasm for new technology and developing new skills.
