On behalf of a Stockport Primary school we are seeking a Nursery Teacher available full time from January. There are 48 children in the EYFS unit and you will be working alongside an experienced EYFS teacher and 3 support staff.

The Primary school is 1 and half form entry and is a Good school. The school fosters an ethos of inclusivity and the staff work hard to ensure that all children make excellent progress through an enriched, diverse curriculum. The successful candidate will play an active part in delivering the school's strategic aims and inspire children to enjoy their learning.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience of working with the EYFS curriculum or subject specialism in this field.
  • Has the motivation to achieve and add value to the school
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Is creative, flexible and approachable.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, preparing & delivering the National Curriculum in line with the Early Years Learning goals.
  • Supporting and deploying other practitioners in the classroom.
  • Adhering to school policies and procedures.
  • Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress.
  • Assisting with extracurricular activities, such as trips, clubs etc.
