McAfee/Helpdesk Engineers
My banking client based in the North West requires 3x McAfee/Helpdesk Engineers to work for them on a contract basis. The role can be based in Knutsford (Cheshire), Kirkby (Liverpool), Teeside or Northampton. These are 3-4 months contracts paying up to GBP225/day. Of the 3 roles, 1 must be filled with someone fluent in German so please highlight language skills in your application if you are fluent in German.
Responsibilities:
*Responsible for supporting the roll out of Anti-Virus software across a section of the business (about 3000 devices, mostly Laptops/PCs)
*Support the trialling and testing process
*Liaise with the project manager and input to the planning process
*Be the first point of contact for any problems or issues from business areas
*Log and resolve problems with the central Infrastructure Service Project
*Report progress and share experiences/best practice with other support colleagues
Essential Skills/Profile:
*Help desk support - preferably 2nd line support - ie customers facing but with a great level of technical knowledge
*Excellent communicator - presentable to business (Not a sit in the corner techy)
*PC/Laptop configuration and change within a corporate environment (eg software deployment through Software Center)
*Good knowledge of laptop/PC technology
*Good understanding of Anti-Virus software
*German Speaking for one post
*McAfee Anti-Virus specific experience
*Infrastructure change planning/roll out/implementation
*Self-motivator - expected to work under own initiative
