You will need
- A keen eye for detail & accuracy is essential
- Have excellent IT skills, especially excel.
- Experience of stock control & knowledge of warehousing
- Good communication, organisational & interpersonal skills
The right candidate will need to be able to maintain their stock to the highest of standards, using their in-house stock system (SAP), whilst sticking to strict deadlines.
You must have a very steady employment history & proven background to be considered for this position.
Responsibilities:
- The efficient, accurate management & movement of stock
- Planning & optimising warehouse storage space by effectively allocating stock
- Control & rotation of all stock
- Reporting all stock issues to management
- Ensuring a full audit trail on all stock adjustments
- Implementation of cycle counts, ensuring accuracy & integrity
- Ensure prompt investigations on stock discrepancies
- Monitoring & reporting of stock movements
- Dealing with vendors & ordering of stock
- Booking stock on to in-house system (SAP)
- Liaise with Technical team on customer returns & goods-in inspections
- To provide effective cover to the Warehouse in times of absence
- Adherence to company health & safety procedures
- Forklift licence would be beneficial but not essential
