Support Worker - for Adults with Autism

This charity at its bases across the city provide and develop a range of services for adults with Autism and related conditions which are specialised, innovative, of high quality and well resourced: and continually seek to improve models of good practice which are internationally recognised.

They aim to support service users to experience life opportunities which encompass the above and promote the growth of individuals to their maximum potential.

They need:

- People to work within residential, day and outreach settings on a one year fixed term contract, meeting the needs of service users by supporting them in the development of essential social skills in order to stimulate confidence, independence and assist them to overcome the disabling effects of autism and other disabilities to enhance their quality of life.
- Staff with a positive, encouraging nature, good communication and effective organizational skills who will be flexible to respond to the changing needs of those we support and promote their rights.
- Help to provide support to the Managers and other members of the charity in maintaining an effective physical, social and emotional environment in line with National Minimum Standards and other regulatory frameworks in provision for adults with autism
