A rare opportunity has arisen for a fully CIPD qualified and experienced generalist Human Resources Manager, with strong employee relations skills to join this trust. They are looking for someone who will take a lead in maintaining and developing further the highest standards of best practice in Human Resources management and who is able to build effective, positive relationships with the Senior Leadership Team, Managers and Faculty Heads across the organisation.

This is a busy, varied, operational position within the trust and their school. The School is an independent, co-educational boarding and day school for pupils aged 11 to 18, and one of England's oldest and most distinguished Catholic schools. The trust is a Benedictine monastery and home to a community of monks. They are situated at the foot of the Mendip Hills, twelve miles south of the city of Bath.

You will be valued for your judgement, commercial astuteness and influencing skills. Your career path demonstrates your overall command of HR operations, combined with the effective execution of a range of HR areas including employee relations, restructuring projects, HR policy and compliance with knowledge of absence management, contracts, resourcing, remuneration and benefits.

They are looking for someone who is:
??? MCIPD qualified with proven experience in a generalist HR role.
??? Commercial and has a good understanding of business.
??? Approachable, calm, diplomatic and has a thorough knowledge of employment legislation.

This is a full time role although consideration will be given to candidates who are able to meet the requirements of the post whilst working part time.

Salary is expected to be in the region of ??42,500 to ??45,000 per annum. You will benefit from a range of benefits including free parking, free lunch, access to our Employee Wellbeing programme, eligibility for School Fee remission and 33 days holiday per year.
