Job Summary:

As the Site Maintenance Engineer you will perform preventative maintenance according to department schedules.  You will be required to complete Hydraulic, Electrical, Pneumatic and Mechanical maintenance to ensure minimal plant downtime and maximum reliability in all areas of the business. 

Primary Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities include the following and should be carried out in an accurate and timely manner with a consideration for Health & Safety at all times:

• Completion of PPM to ensure plant and equipment are in full working order and meet the manufacturers and company’s recommended guidelines and according to department schedules
• Proactive following plant breakdowns to eliminate repetitive issues
• Reactive to plant breakdowns as requested by maintenance software programme
• Fault finding, both electrically and mechanically
• Ensure all records are accurate and maintained
• Completion of routine servicing schedules, to include Plant, Forklifts and general site tasks
• Completion of risk assessments before each job
• Supply a report, via works order process, to highlight where the process or system could be improved going forward
• Take on an active role in generating ideas for improvement
• Continuous Improvement – Department and Personal
• Continuous effective communication with internal departments and own team, using team email system to ensure all team members are kept up to date
• To work in accordance with health & safety regulations
• Any other adhoc duties within your capabilities
