WIRED SEND Independent Support Workers 16 hours
per week (covering Liverpool & Knowsley) x 3 roles
Salary: £19,494 per annum pro rata. This equates to an actual annual salary of £8,914 plus benefits
Contract period: 12 month rolling contract subject to funding
Wired is a registered charity that provides a range of services to disabled adults, children, young people, parents and carers. WIRED has delivered the Wirral SEND Information, Advice and Guidance service successfully for many years and has recently secured the contract to deliver SEND IAS services across Liverpool and Knowsley. The Independent Support Workers will work as part of the team within the service, providing young people and parents and carers of children with special educational needs with impartial information, advice and support about any issues relating to their Special Educational Needs or disability (SEND). The Independent Support Workers will empower young people, parents and carers in Liverpool & Knowsley to make an informed contribution to any decision about their educational provision to enable them to achieve better outcomes.
