Finance Assistant
£18,000 - £20,000
Central Exeter
4 month FTC
My client, who are a large national voluntary sector enterprise, are looking for a finance assistant to join their busy regional office in Exeter for a 4 month fixed term contract. This is a full-time position requiring 35 hours per week. The right candidate will have experience in a similar role, be enthusiastic, helpful and keen to be part of a dynamic team.
Duties will include being part of the team responsible for:
- Processing transactions across the general ledger in an accurate and timely manner
- Control account reconciliations
- Fixed asset analysis
- Raising sales invoices
- Credit control
- Ensure all month and year end activities are carried out to the agreed timeframes
- Assist in good internal and external relationship management
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good and accurate IT skills (MS Office, word processing, spreadsheets, database and e-mail)
- Good attention to detail- proven ability to handle figures accurately.
This is an opportunity to work within a strong team, in a good working environment, for an established charity. The role is varied, interesting and busy. Preference will be for candidates who are immediately available.
